Our technology programs focus on supporting student’s understanding of how
computers work. They learn how to use technology of various functions to support
learning in the classroom. Through our technology programs, children gain awareness about how computers work.
They begin by learning the basics of keyboarding and word processing. Students also learn how the internet and multimedia work, how information is represented in a computer, and learn coding to enhance creativity and innovation.
Adesuwa Academy integrates the arts with technology and gives students instructions
and opportunities to explore drawing, painting, and graphic design.

Integrating Curricula
Adesuwa Academy integrates curriculum to support students' insight into seeing the
connections across disciplines, enhancing learning, and applying these skills in the real
world. Our programs promote learning to read and reading to learn at an early age
through engaging activities to build student’s comprehension, critical thinking, and
creative thinking skills. We integrate the elements of diversity and the art of listening
and speaking into the curriculum. Students are given opportunities to develop concepts,
discuss and analyze materials across disciplines, and engage in structured debates to
support divergent thinking.
Students are offered rich content and multiple pathways to learning the concepts of prints, reading, comprehension, writing, and other subjects through the integration of visual arts, Music, dance, role-playing, reader's theater, social studies, and technology. They are immersed in literature and engage in discussions about stories morals to stimulate and foster and values.
Learning Foundations
Adesuwa Academy’s early childhood preschool learning foci include play-centered
activities and school readiness skills by developing student’s cognitive skills in literacy
and numeracy, including promoting their socioemotional and physical development.
Preschool age curriculum offers authentic learning environments and experiences that
allow children to develop independently and in groups. It is a year to foster social skills
and expand upon children’s innate enthusiasm for learning.

Adesuwa Academy designs and facilitates educators; professional learning based on
research and proven practices. Our in-service training, seminars, and workshops are
strategically crafted to offer students equitable access to stellar learning environments

Adesuwa Academy offers parents workshops and seminars focused on equipping
parents with strategies to work with their child and their child’s school to support their
academic and socioemotional development.
We support students receiving special education. Many children who have a disability
may also have talents and gifts that should be maximized. Our goal is to educate
children receiving special education services in the least restrictive environment to help
them thrive. Towards that end, we help parents of children experiencing academic or behavioral challenges. Parents are supported in understanding the special education identification, placements, and services, to know how best to help their children.

Collage Consulting
The college application process can be overwhelming.
Our goal is to reduce the stress of the application process by guiding students through selecting and applying to their best-fit colleges. We have programs geared toward supporting students from 9 th grade
to map out all the requirements they need way ahead of the deadline. We help students
identify their interests and facilitate their volunteer work, internship and prepare their
portfolio. We pay attention to students socioemotional and academic needs and
financial circumstances. We also address factors relevant to the college admission
process. We provide educational services, including essay support, help with summer
programs, drafting resumes, and interview skills

At Adesuwa Academy, we recognize that developing children make varying progress
physically, socioemotionally, and cognitively. We offer full-time and part-time programs
to meet student’s diverse needs. We support students in public schools to access an
inclusive free and appropriate public education.
Adesuwa Academy offers a standard-based individualized curriculum for homeschool
students. We also serve students who need temporary or long-term standard-based
educational remedial and accelerated support, as well as extracurricular activities to
nurture student’s talents.
