This program is designed to educate the whole child by fostering communication and social competencies. Children are engaged in playful exploration and curiosity to develop their readiness for literacy, numeracy, and socioemotional learning. The program creates a smooth transition from home to school. It prepares children for elementary school education and equips them to navigate the world around them. Children receive customized research-based developmentally appropriate learning experiences to build foundational skills and to meet their learning needs in highly engaging quality programs. This program is intentionally created to give young children access to appropriate social interactions and learning experiences in safe, nurturing environments that support healthy socioemotional, cognitive, and physical development to strengthen their sense of self. We offer all levels of support, from one hour a week to full-time placements.

What to expect for full-time/continuously enrolled program participants:-We assess children’s developmental needs. We focus on the whole child through:-

• Activities involving character development literature
•  Social-Emotional Development
• Establishing routines
• Setting Boundaries
• Building literacy and numeracy skills
• Children’s school readiness skills are nurtured through music, dance, stories, role-play, visual art, and more.
• We use traditional stories, fables, and bible stories

Preschool: Age 3-4

The areas of focus for ages 3-4 includes revisiting skills taught in 2 and 3 year-olds programs in more depth as well as additional concepts to enhance their Social-Emotional Development, Language Literacy, numeracy, and social studies

Continuing foundational social and emotional development, Language literacy, and numeracy. Music, dance, stories, and art skills continued

Preschool Age 4-5

Our 4/5-year-old programs continue to refine the concepts and skills addressed with the 3/4-year-olds, including developing social-emotional and cognitive skills encompassing reading, writing, and math. Adesuwa Academy also supports children in acquiring learning concepts skills through integrating the arts and physical development.
