Founder
Dr. Faustina Osagiede, founder of Adesuwa Academy LLC, is a seasoned educator with many years of experience, versatile knowledge, and skills in Pre-K—12 educational services. Osagiede has served private, charter, non-public, and public schools as a teacher, mentor teacher, intervention specialist, learning facilitator, and parent advocate.
Her teaching and learning philosophy about students’ unique potential and how they learn drives her passion for creating personalized student-centered multidisciplinary education, including Reading, Writing, Science the Arts, Social Science, and Culture.
With over two decades of experience, she provides targeted interventions to address challenges for students with learning issues, including twice-exceptional students (2Es). She supports educators and parents in fostering children’s socioemotional well-being and academic skills.
Her practice incorporates evidence-based strategies for addressing individualized academic remediation and acceleration. She also supports students in developing self-advocacy skills and confidence to navigate their academic journeys.
As an educational therapist/consultant, Osagiede works with students with unique learning profiles, such as students with autism and ADHD. She collaborates closely with families, schools, and specialists to ensure holistic support for every learner. This includes:
- Addressing specific academic skill gaps in reading, writing, and math
- Developing customized learning plans
- Attending and advocating in IEP meetings to align educational goals
- Providing tools for organization, time management, and goal-setting
- Offering homeschool consulting and parent education
- Offering professional development for educators and administrators.
She is committed to unlocking the potential of every learner and reducing the stress of schooling by equipping students with the skills and strategies they need to succeed in school and beyond.
Osagiede’s extensive professional experience, educational background, and raising two college graduates and one in college, influence her knowledge of serving school-age children and youths. She understands the complexities of nurturing and supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and academic development. Her humbling, eye-opening experiences inform her understanding of children and youths’ unique and varying needs.
Therefore, implementing a holistic approach to addressing students’ educational and socioemotional needs drives Adesuwa Academy’s programs.

Dr. Osagiede holds a California K-12 Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential with an emphasis in multicultural education; a California Professional Administrative Credential, a National Board Certificate with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education; College Consulting Certificate from the University of California Irvine and has taken courses in Educational Therapy.
Her rich professional and academic background influenced Osagiede’s versatile knowledge and skills. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on constitutional law from Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio; a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from California State University, Northridge; and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership, with emphasis in educational psychology from the University of Southern California. She also holds an A.A. degree in paralegal studies from El Camino College.
